Founded in 1970 by R. Ed Duley

Our beginning

In 1970 R. Ed Duley enters the insurance industry, opening the doors to Executive Financial Services.

2000 John Pederson is named a Partner and DBI becomes Duley Bolwar Pederson.

DBP Grows into an industry leader

In 2011 DBP emerges as a top tier producer in Arizona.  Continuing their strong growth, they cement their organization as a Top Insurance Broker in the Phoenix Business Journal.

Expansion

As a result of continued growth DBP purchases its Scottsdale, Arizona headquarters in 2006.
In 2014 DBP launches Your Benefit Connection (YBC), a full service in house management and execution of annual on-boarding/enrollment via web, telephonic, in-person employee engagement.  In collaboration with Client Services, YBC provides annual employee education strategies via multi-faceted, targeted communication campaigns such as client specific videos, DBP Connect texting software and digital/printed employee benefit guides.
In 2018, DBP expands by founding YBWell a multi-disciplinary, population health management arm. YBWell employs a holistic approach in developing initiatives driven by benefit plan utilization, health risk analysis and employee interest.
In 2020, DULEY BOLWAR PEDERSON celebrates 50 years as a trusted employee benefits adviser. Still privately held after 50 years, our employees proudly consider DBP an extension of their family. We hope you join us on our amazing journey!
